Quick start: get your first demo out in about ten minutes
Demopup turns the product you already have into a guided, clickable demo you can send as a link. Here is the whole flow, plus shortcuts and a few tips.
Quick start
- Capture your productAdd the Demopup Capture extension, then open any page of your product and click the Demopup toolbar icon. Click Capture screen to grab the live page as a real, interactive screen. Capture a few screens in a row.
- Build the walkthroughYour captured screens land in the Demopup app. Arrange them into an order, then point things out with a callout, and link a click so the viewer can advance the demo themselves. Blur or hide anything sensitive.
- Personalize and sendDrop in the prospect's name, publish, and share the link. It opens on any device with no sign-in for the viewer. Re-publishing updates the same link.
- See who's interested *Send the link and watch for opens: the free plan shows you when a demo gets viewed and how recently. Pro shows who opened it, how far each person got, and when a champion forwards it to their team.
* The free plan includes 3 personalized links per demo and demo-level open tracking (views and last opened). Pro adds the full picture: who opened which link, how far each person got, who a champion shared it with, unlimited links and demos, and no “Made with Demopup” badge.

On Windows, use Ctrl wherever these show ⌘. Press ? inside the editor anytime to see this list in the app.

Tips
- Capture is on demand. The extension does nothing until you click its icon. There is no background tracking.
- Truly hide sensitive data. Hide removes content from the snapshot, so it is gone, not just blurred over the top.
- One link per prospect. Personalize a copy for each person (3 per demo on the free plan, unlimited on Pro); the viewer never needs to sign in.
- Re-publish updates the same link. Fix a typo or add a screen, publish again, and the link you already sent stays current.
- Sign in to save your work. Signing in keeps your demos in your account instead of only this browser. Upgrade to Pro for the full engagement picture (who opened each link, how far they got, and who shared it), unlimited personalized links, AI help turning rough callouts into copy that converts, and no watermark.
