Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Demopup, including the Demopup web app and the Demopup Capture browser extension (together, the "Service"), operated by Demopup ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The service

Demopup lets you capture web pages you choose and turn them into shareable, interactive product demos. We may change, add, or remove features over time, and we may occasionally suspend the Service for maintenance or reasons outside our reasonable control.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your access to it secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

Your content and responsibilities

You keep ownership of the content you capture, create, and publish with the Service ("your content"). You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, and display your content so we can operate the Service for you.

You are solely responsible for what you capture and share. You represent that you have the right to capture the pages you capture and to share the demos you create, and that doing so does not violate any law or any third party's rights, including intellectual-property, privacy, and confidentiality rights. Do not capture pages containing content you are not permitted to copy or share.

Acceptable use

• Don't use the Service to infringe others' rights, or to capture or share content you have no right to.
• Don't upload malware, attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Don't use the Service to deceive, harass, or harm others, or for anything unlawful.
• Don't resell or redistribute the Service except as expressly allowed.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Plans, billing, and cancellation

The Service offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and, except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable. We may change pricing on a going-forward basis with reasonable notice.

Intellectual property

The Service itself, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to us and our licensors. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding beyond using the Service as intended. Feedback you send us may be used without obligation to you.

Third-party content

Pages you capture and links you share may reference or contain third-party content and websites that we do not control and are not responsible for. Your use of any third-party site is governed by that site's own terms.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Demopup and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, or any unauthorized access to, use of, or alteration of your content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Demopup and its operator from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably need to in order to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
